How Can I Estimate A Framing Job For A New Construction?
Base price... Mine is $4 per sq/ft
sq/ft for garage if there is living space over it... Mine is $1.50
bay Windows... 150
roof over 8:12 add 10% after estimate
frost walls add $2/linear foot
stick frame add 10% (dormers)
add the out of ordinary cost or come up with your own sq-ft price. My average last year was 4.21 per sq-ft.
Or ask the builder to dictate pricing, some don't mind.
