All 3 roles are important for the Manager but out of three roles The Decisions Role is the more important because they initiate new projects and identify areas of business development and they take corrective action during crises,resolve conflicts amongst staff and gets resources and participates in negotiation activities with individuals and other organizations to achieve some goals

In my opinion "Informational roles" is very important for a manager..
According to Mintzberg (1975), different aspects of a manager's job cause managers at all levels to be involved in a series of interpersonal, informational, and decisional roles. In Mintzberg's view, receiving and communicating information is perhaps the most important aspect of a manager's job.

Mintzber’s three types of managerial roles are interpersonal, informational and decisional. In today ever changing world of globalization and competition the only thing that creates the difference is change and innovation which is a part of Mintzberg decisional roles. Technology has made this world a global village, for new-style managers entrepreneur thinking, resource allocation at the same time handling the disturbance when ever it may happen and most importantly making rational decisions all are part of Hindzberg “Decisional roles” which I think perhaps the most important roles of today managers.
