I bought a gas station, but needed my dad's signature on the loan. My dad owned a construction company, I have it now. His banker told him that cosigning my loan was hurting him getting loans to build houses. He pulled his signature and the bank forced me to sell the gas station. I really like cars and anything to do with cars. Once I sold the gas station I had enough money to build a house of my own to sell, so I did. That was about 26 years ago. I have stayed with construction every since.
