Can you get a farm tax break for chickens?

I think you'd have to contact the local county tax office. Around here there are two kinds of farm tax break. Neither would be satisfied JUST by owning chickens, unless you make most of your income from them.

There are usually a lot of variables, and it's different from place to place. You're a lot more likely to meet livestock requirements with larger animals though ... Cows, goats, sheep, llamas, pigs, etc.
