Tbh I'm speaking for the british army here, but it depends on what your doing in the army - to be a private you wont need anything, but you are obviously a better candidate if you have better grades - I'm only 15 but ma mate is being sponsored by the army to go to newcastle college...he is going to go into officer training though...any other kind of specialist then it should really speak for itself...so to answer your question
private - nothin
officer - officer training (maybe A levels)
any other specialist and you would probably already know

Can you hold a gun and potentially become cannon fodder for a desk jockey a world away, who may sacrifice you to obtain some larger and unknown objective?
Then my friend, you do have what it takes.

Study hard in school, keep your grades up, and focus on math and science courses. Join ROTC, and when you get to your junior and senior years, take as many AP or college classes as you can. The Army will take just about anyone with high moral standing and a high school diploma, but you still want to be more prepared than the average recruit. You can get E-3 straight out of Boot with either 45 semester college credits or 3 years of Jr ROTC.

You can calculate your grades through this lsac GPA Calculator.Keep up on the PT, too. It's not that hard to gain too much weight, and it takes a lot more work to take it off. Do a few push-ups every day, run a few times a week, and/or get involved in sports, wrestling, etc. The closer you are to passing your PT test before Boot Camp the easier it will be for you. Physical readiness is a lifestyle, and you might as well get used to it now.

While that isn't a whole lot, it's about $400 a month difference in pay for the first 4 months, and $200 after that.
