Hi. I have lived in Fred for 3.5 years and commute to Dupont Circle. It takes 2.5 hours door to door, which involves a VRE Feeder bus, VRE to Union Station, Metro Red Line to Dupont.
I have also driven to German Town MD from here too. That's 2 hours of conjestion on a good day. It's full of STRESS!!! So I don't do that any more.
I work/sleep on the VRE train.
I head that there are van and other forms of commuter transportations (sluggin??).
