What should I do if a customer insists on having a seat right next to the door?

If a seat is available, make sure it is by a door. If there are no seats by a door available, let them know they are going to have to wait (possibly months) for a seat that exists. Or tell them they are unreasonable. Unless they have some 'disorder' that entitles them to that specified location, they have to abide by the rules like everyone else.
