It's convenient to study online with a computer. They are replacing for going to join a class, it saves time and it's wonderful that we can ask a teacher with Skype face to face, when we have a question, and for the homework we just can send by email, so we just turn on the computer and pick an appointment with our teacher, that's all.
The computer also teaches people how to use the internet. For some people who don't know how to use the internet you can learn from a computer or a friend or relative can show you. There are also computer classes in schools. I had a computer class and that's how I learned how to use a computer. You can also google up meanings of words instead of using what was then the dictionary. That's to me the basics of a computer.
