I always liked the older cars for the way they look but i wonder if growing up in this generation that I would jump in a car from the 70's and be like OMG at the how they are to drive and feel. I don't know because ive never tried, but id like to imagine we made some decent performance "modernizing" for the handling and stuff.

Had a '69 bug I drove for 20 years. Wish I had it back.

I've had a few Bugs myself and wish I had them all back. They're all just basic mechanical, no computer crap. All you needed was a pair of pliers, adjustable wrench and a couple of screw drivers and you were all set.

I had a German Luger that I sold when we were low on money and I needed to buy presents for my kids Christmas. It was a real jewel and I always regretted having to sell it but my kids came first.

damn sounds like a good amount of dough, although I am not one for gun pricing. Ive only ever had a blank gun and sold it on craigslist. I was surprised that craigslist didnt have some sort of rule against it and remove my listing.

1971 Grand Prix. Hubby had restored it. New paint, new engine. I got into an accident in it, and its heftiness kept us from being gravely injured. We sold it and have always regretted it. It wasn't much of a family car, but oh I used to love driving it around with the sound system as high as I could stand it. We miss it to this day.

Many years ago when we were going through some rough times, I sold an old bureau that had belonged to my grandmother to an antique dealer.  I'd give a lot to have it back.

I miss this and wish I never sold it, especially for the amount I got. I spent more money buying it initially, without all the custom parts I put into it, then what I sold it for:
