Helper cats! Yeah right! They do what they please, and I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Cats aren't smart enough to be trained.
Actually ... They DID try to train cats.
But they found cats would run AWAY from bombs, rather than stupidly sit next to them.

Dogs tried to teach them also but the cats were too stubborn and the dogs gave up !

Regardless of what cat lovers will tell you about their "independent" cats know that dogs are smarter than cats, are a social animal and are trainable in this work.
That is besides the fact that dog noses are far superior to cat noses for smell dection.
