Realistically how much extra money would you need to settle a couple of bills, debts and have a little left over till Dec 2016?

$2,500 would be a good boost.

@Otis, you been drinking too look much of your own shine. I have not now or ever thrown dirt in your face. Not once, twice or three times. If you felt there was a problem you could have sent me a private message, there's no reason to put me on blast. I certainly thought Otis and Jan were super friends. It's never my intention to offend you or anyone. I see you are keeping account of when you accuse me of offending you. You should have brought your perceived anger and offenses up before they accumulated. I apologize that you have taken offend.

I don't have any credit cards -if I don't have the money, I don't buy it---but I have the usual bills-electric, gas for house and car, car payments and small house payment, I guess $2,500 would be nice so I could buy plenty of pantry groceries for winter and pay monthly bills and even get Christmas gifts for others this year. For a change

Also, a tornado took my roof off and I have to have a whole new roof (again) . The adjuster came out today and that's $2,500 I have to pay with deductible and depreciation and 1% (whatever that means or something...I didn't really understand what he was saying)

And then I got very sick this year with huge kidney stones and had to have lots of tests and surgery and my wonderful Obama Care -Affordable Care Act, pays only 70% and that's with me paying $800 a month for insurance or I will get fined on my income taxes for having no health insurance . So I can only pay a bit every month on that but the amount is slowing dwindling down, so that's good .

This is depressing.  But I am very fortunate. Not having credit cards is the best decision anyone could make. I have everything I need and "need"' and "want" are two different things.

@Otis, you are completely off que and being overly sensitive. I was just joking. If you felt I have offended you 3 times, my gosh you should have spoken up on the 1st perceived incident and not keep account of other perceived offensives. You could have messaged me if you thought my comments were out of line or hurt you and I would have immediately asked Rooster or Angela to remove my comments and I would have apologize to you. There's no reason to keep account of perceived injustices. We could have privately discussed this and settled it in private. Peace.

It still seemed out of place to us for Jan to say that under a question we are all answering ...unless she put it under everyone's and then I would wonder too why it was under my answer .

@ Sincerity, I didn't mean to offend him. I was super shocked and sad to see Otis's comments. As I stated he could have message me and told me how he felt. I would have ask, as I stated, message Rooster and/or Angela to remove my comments and apologize. Thanks
