While some can remember, many look up information as they treat the animal. I have asked questions about treating and medicating my dog that they have had to go look up the answer or consult a specialist.
How do veterinarians remember all the different biologies of their patients?
This is something that comes natural when you are a Veterinarian and when a client / patient comes in they automatically go into rescue mode to help their furry friends . I watch Dr Pol he is from the Netherlands but has practice in Michigan USA . He is actually my favorite he takes care of Farm animals , Dogs , Cats , Lizards etc.
