Recruitment and Selection are two very important concepts of Human Resource Management. Recruitment is the process in which screening and selection of the individuals is conducted for a specific job. It is different from selection because it is broader and selection is a part of recruitment process. Recruitment is the process in which various techniques are conducted for the evaluation of the fitness of the candidates for a specific job and in the selection process the successful candidates are hired. Therefore, selection is a part of recruitment process.
