I have not seen any information about serious employment for 14-15 year olds in Buffalo; Does anyone know where I might find serious employment? By serious employment I mean a job with sustainable income, nothing like a lemonade stand or babysitting.

I'm not sure what you mean by sustainable, but it is against the law, in most states, for someone under 18 to have a full time job, even the hours of the day they can work are limited.

Most places cannot hire those under 16 because of child labor laws. Talk to your school conselor about getting a work permit and what job options you may have in your area. I am thinking a grocery store bagger might be an option.

Legality aside, I suspect the reason you "have not seen any information about serious employment for 14-15 year olds in Buffalo" is that employers generally do not look at 14-15 year olds as serious employees.

You may well be the exception, but you will most likely have to do some serious investigation to find a demand for your services.
