My GF has depression and tends to hurt herself. What should I do? I know for sure her mom triggers her depression. I visit them constantly (its been a year now) and it happens often. I found out her mom also has a mental problem but doesn't want to get help. It gets worse cause it affects the whole family. My GF is afraid to speak her mind and tell her mom what she wants. She's already 22 but unfortunately still living with them cause she needs to finish her course. We are in the Philippines and we have a different setup here. Much as I want to help, I don't think I am in the right position. I have my own job, independent and can live my life the way I want to but when it comes to her and her family, I guess I don't have the right. I really want to help her though. They went to the doctor once but her mom never saw it as a priority. She always finds a reason to cancel appointments. She manipulates everything. She can even make the doctors belive that her daughter is making up stories about her. What should I do?

I ended it for a couple of reason, I felt like I was being used with all the favors and such but mainly because I like her a lot and decided it's time for me to move on however I can't get her out my head. I've often been tempted to text her back and apologize or something even though it would make me look weak. Should I do it? Maybe she has already moved on since she hasn't texted me yet. I think the reason why she won't tell me is because the 10 year age gap between us, I'm 23 and she's 33 and she doesn't want our friendship to end or hurt my feelings. If so what should I do, just wait or move on? Should I still remain her friend even though she does not have the courage to tell me how she feels about me? Also it's her that use to text me first after we haven't talked in a while. After 2 months and again after 1 month. Ps. I told her I want to move on but I want to know your feelings first. So it could be that she's not interested in me like that but don't want to loose me. So I probably shouldn't have told her that either.
