The Royal Navy has currently very few fixed wing aircraft, and those that they have are for training purposes in readiness for the Joint Strike Fighter being developed by Boeing and Lockheed Martin - ultimately partially funded by the UK Ministry of Defence.

They have BAe Hawks and Grob fixed-wing trainers.

They have Lynx, Seaking Merlin and Wildcat Helicopters.

From my memory, the Royal Navy Website and Wikipedia.
