If you could communicate with one species of animal, which would it be?

A PLATYPUS !!!! Not really :) I just like saying that word .. Platypus platypus platypus !!

I just communicated with my cat, I told her to sit down on the front porch and she did.

I had a dream last night about my dog, it's the first time I've dreamed of her since her death. She was leaning on me with her back to me, I was smelling that sweet place behind her ears. She was telling me that I need to chill out a bit more, stop being so hard on myself. We had a whole conversation without words.

Ants. I just saw a swarm of ants on my driveway, about the size of a Frizbee, there had to be a bazillion of them. Can you imagine the conversations going on there?

A whale.

Squirrels.

Why, my Hound dog of course. We already have some pretty good conversations but he's pretty quiet most of the time. Don't know where he picked up the swearing but I'd like to ask him !

I wish I could communicate better with my dogs. I have senior dog who has arthritis. I wish she should could tell me how much pain she is in, so I could better manage it for her. I have rescue that suffers from separation anxiety. I would love to explain to him that we are his forever home and even though we may go out from time to time without him, we will always come back home to him.
