Media is neutral, it is neither good nor evil. It is society, or elements of society, that corrupt media. Just as a gun cannot kill sitting on a table, it takes a person to pick it up and pull the trigger to make it kill. Newspapers, radio, television do nothing till people put programming on them. It is then that its use becomes apparent.
