It usually depends on the wrestler and his popularity... Some start off with around 50,000 a year and sometimes air travel fee's paid... Top names make over 1,800,000 a year, free air travel, 20% of merchandise sold, and free hotel cost's... Some wrestlers have been paid over 2,000,000 a year...One being HHH from WWE... Plus he gets 10 trips on private jet... Women wrestlers usually make 40,000 to 500,000 a year, but most only make less then 140,000...

Well if you're good you get anywhere from $600,000 to a little over $2,000,000 and possibly a hotel accommodation, First class ticket once a week, the private jet, and ground transportation paid for every week. (Triple H, Randy Orton, Undertaker, John Cena, HBK, Big Show) If you're not quite a main event but you're top of the roster then you'll get paid anywhere from $200,000- $600,000 (Rey Mysterio, Christian, Hurricane Helms, Mark Henry, Shelton Benjamin, William Regal) If you're a piece of crap and the audience pretty much doesn't respond when you come in you'll get anywhere from $40,000-$200,000 depending on how bad you are (Kung FuNaki, Maria, Melina, Mickie James, Jillian Hall, Mickie James, Johnny Nitro)

Triple H was the highest paid with $2,013,000 and hotel accommodations ground transportation, first class flight ticket once a week, use of private company else 10 times per year paid for from the company.

This was as of 2006.

Devilsryne's comments sounds about right. If you look at the WWE 10-K, the company is only committed to $18 million in employee contracts in 2009. So the biggest celebrities might make $2 million but not many. Its more likely that they make in the range of $500-$1 million. Also wrestlers are independent contractors so they have to pay for their own health insurance. The result of this is that WWE stars don't make nearly as much money as other pro athletes.

It's funny that women pay can never average out with a mans pay no mattet how hard we work. Just think without women there would be no male wrestlers to even wrestle. Yet still we get paid very little. It's unfair and won't attract women wrestlers.
