Each state, district, and county can set their own pay scales and it can change every few years. In the southeastern United States, a bachelor's degree would start around $30,000. I would safely assume two degrees higher on the scale would start in the mid-to-upper 30's. Each year the teacher is paid a tad bit more on a 'step' system. Check your state's (or county) main government page and see if it has a link to the education department, which should give you the pay scale. Your local Board of Education could also tell you (probably in one phone call).
