How Old Do You Need To Be To Get A Paper Round?

There are various rules regarding paper rounds. You must be over 13 years old for one.

If you are still at school and are under 16 then by law you mustn't on any one school day work more than 2 hours. Also you're not allowed to work before 7am and not anytime after 7pm. The last restriction is that you mustn't work no more than 12 hours in one week.

At least 13 I did one and they only let me do the paper round if I was 13 :-) x

I no I'm in year7 and I really want a paper round I no you don't get much but at least its something !

Well it is legal if you get you parents signature stating your age and that they give you permission that you are able to do the paper round the only problem is that there can be laws in certain areas thats state that anyone under the age of 13 are not able to have a job but if there isn't you are in luck and you will be able to do unless the shop keeper does not want you to do it which is unlikely. Paper rounds are so unfair! When I stared school, as soon as you got to year7 (s1) you would get one. I'm gutted!

If you have insiders like your mum's friend or something you can get away with doing a paper round aged 11/12

You have to be about 13 years old, which is a bummer because I want money!! :(
And you can't really ask your parents they will just say no !! :(

so I'm in year 7 & I need things.
My birthdays in december.. Is there any things I can do untill then?
Except working for family,cause I can't really do that:)x

I want 1 when I am 11 so I can go down stockport shopping but by law you have to be 13 I know itz not fair
