Job satisfaction is considered to be a dependent variable because job satisfaction itself depends upon multiple independent factors such as employee salary, employee participation, employee involvement, training, office layout etc. Job satisfaction is a big term which encompasses many factors which employers want to explore to make their employees happy and satisfied from their job. That is why job satisfaction is considered as dependent variable and not as an independent variable.
