Yep I think the fact that they come predominantly from a working class background and there are issues on unemployment,housing and education was the kindling that set off the flashpoint.They were protesting at Big Government, as in 1981, and blaming their position and the country's economic status on the Conservatives.As for the government, if there's a useless policy to waste money on, they'll surely find it.
