The answer is as simple as being observant.   Watch a mother as she hold her child, cooks supper and sets the table all at the same time.   Or watch a mother in a restaurant while she hold one child in her lap, eats, and helps her other child with his meal all the while carrying on a conversation with her mate.   Multi-taking is an in-born thing for Mothers.

Well the general rule is women are the better multitaskers and this seems to be generally true from what I have observed and experienced.

The truth is both men and women can only do "one job "at a time to completion/the right way.when you/they spread yourself/their-self to thin you/they tend to foul up or need others to help finish what you/they started even if you/they don't want to admit it.in other words something else is either suffering or did not receive the attention do to it in detail when a man or women is trying to multi task. In other words they are wanting to seem more important than they are by trying to do or be everywhere at once when they are really slacking off in some areas( or stepping on someone elses toes when doing so) then they need help or are assigned a helper to take up their slack or should i say the less important parts of their job.so when someone says they did it all alone they are all lying through their little white pointy/crooked   teeth and their crooked little smile. : ). In otherwords they owe shared credit with someone else if not many many people. Because if they were not doing their jobs the other person would not be able to do their job in the first place.or as the little kid at the end of the movie credits says "i made this". It takes a crew/cast to make any movie.

By far...a woman can multi-task much easier than a male. Our brains work differently than men's brains do. Men trying to multi-task lose quality of the one thing they started doing. They're better off sticking to doing one thing at a time. Maybe that way...so many things wouldn't get messed up !!   Lol
I will admit tho...that there may be a few men who are capable of multi-tasking. I can't blame 100% of them for what the majority suffer from.
I just hafta say...that I've never known one woman who couldn't pull off multi-tasking, even when she didn't know she was doing it.

True, but those are highly-trained men. Here we're talking about the AVERAGE man, and I don't think he has as much skills as those marines.

Most definitely women; they were built to be able to take care of a baby, cook supper for the family and keep the other kids out of trouble in the olden days, because that was a women's job. Plus we're just naturally awesome. :)

From my experience, men are more multitaskers, while women are more focused on a single task and skilled at jobs that require preciseness and repetition.

I Can't Multi Task ,,   At All I Either Burn Myself.. Spill Something.. Throw Something Away By Mistake. But I'd Say Ladies Simply Because They Are Mothers   When I Had My First Child I Would   Do Lots Of Stuff At Once.. Load The Washer.. While Feeding My Son In His Stroller While I   Answer The Phone.. If I Did That Now With My Short Term Memory Loss And   Perimenopause   I'd For Sure Forget To Call Someone.. Or Put No Soap In The Washer Or Too Much In The Washer. Or Turn   The Dishwasher On With 1 Bowl And Two Plates In It..

I think we'd need a psychological study to determine that.   But I doubt that gender has anything to do with it.   Maybe women are EXPECTED more to multi-task, therefore they are driven to it.

Men are more single minded than women, and when they multi-task, they lose quality of performance, where women are more suited for it.
