Should I keep being a personal trainer or continue my education in the IT field? I ve been a PT for 5 years, love it, but the pay sucks?

I would do both. Finish school in the IT field. Do PT as a second job. You can schedule PT clients around your other job or school. I say do both because it will give you more choices to work with. IT job will pay all of your bills and give you more money in general, but you should still do PT because it is something you love.

In the long run... Enjoying your career is more important than money.

If you enjoy personal training why would you go into IT? If you are going to go back to school, look for something in a related field that has a better income. Why not go for Physical Therapy instead. Plus they make more than an IT person.

I have looked at physical therapy. Not sure how I'd feel about it based on the curriculum. Granted, that's not the best way to evaluate a career, but that's the furthest I've gotten with it.
