The main three, in order, are the ABC (Austrralia's national broadcaster), the Guardian, and the Hufington Post.

If something's happening in a particular locality that attracts my interest I'll check the local news sources.

Currently, I mainly rely on the BBC News App and Facebook for most of my news.

I have downloaded quite a few news apps over recent years in an attempt to broaden the perspectives and stories I hear about (I'm one of those people who are always skeptical about news sources), but frankly there's only so much news I can take in one day without feeling depressed and hopeless.
