In purely "community" terms, social interaction is key.
How do you know a community is healthy? What would a community have that supports health? What would you see in a healthy community?
Dear Abegail Serrano,
To the social interaction Ray Dart mentions, I would add what may be just variations:
tolerance, inclusiveness, reciprocity and fun.
Healthy in what sense? As stated social interaction is a key to psychological health. Strong businesses are needed for economical and financial health. Green spaces, walking/biking trails, and play and sport areas for physical health.
A healthier communnity is not the one that is better medicated, but the one with increased awareness about the ways of prevention, healthy lifestyle and getting treatment timely. Healthcare
company at www.canadahealthcaremall.com is a stark example of new generation healthcare service that focuses on all the three points: Prevention, improving lifestyle and providing affordable medications for prompt therapy at hand.
