I've been looking for this answer as well.  I've heard everything from, YES they do, and ONLY 20% of people at MEPS will be tested.  Meaning theres a 20% chance you will be randomly selected.

Suboxone has a long Half life of 36 Hours, so a single use of 4mg, may stay in your system for 3 - 7 days?

This is a very broad question you have proposed but to he;lp you sum it up before you go to meps which is military entrance inprocessing they will test your eye sight for things such as color blindness and depth perception to dexterity and limberness hieght and weight ,check male paitents for hemroids document the tattoos that you may have and give you a ua to test for drugs at this point if you havent taken the asvab they will make you take it and give a list of jobs they think you are quailfied for just remember that you should look into what you want to do before you acctually sign anything and if its not avaible you can wait and you can always retake the asvab to bump your score for more and better jobs do not be afraid to tell them no if they tell you something isn't avaible

If they use the 10 panel drug screen (which they probably do) it does test for methadone.

The military tests for hundreds of different jobs. The primary testing of any soldier is thier willingness to close with the enemy and kill them cold!!
