Usually the completed job application, if turned in already, is being kept for 3 months if the position is filled by not you. Some companies keep it for 6 months so that if there come a time that a position got opened and that completed applications on file are qualified people for the opened position, they will contact the first most qualified and available persons first before they put their wanted ad in the paper. Will save the company a little money by doing this.
