How Much Do Police Officers Get Paid An Hour?

It really depends on where you work, City, County, State or Federal.  I make $70,000 a year working for Washington State Patrol.  Most agencies start recruits from $25/hour to $33/hour.  Like I said though, it just depends on where you work.

You certainly did not start out making $70,000 a year. That is usually after 5-10 years if you are lucky. The starting pay at most agencies is $30K or less.
