Medicines are chemistry because they are basically chemicals. Chemistry is the study of the composition, structure, properties, and reactions of matter.
The reactions the medicines have on your body are chemistry too. Pharmacists would give you the medicines to make that chemical reaction in your body happen. You have to know how the medicines would react with the other medicines also, if prescribed daily. Knowing the side effects would make it related to chemistry too, because you have to know the problems that the medicines could make. I would have to make sure I would know what medicines should not be taken together, or at the same time because they might react in a harmful way when you take them together.
