Depends on the specific crime. For example, if you were convicted of a felony involving medicaid fraud. This may not stop you from working as an Lpn however it may restrict you from providing any care/duties that would cause payment from medicaid/medicare. An Lpn would be hard pressed to found an abundance of jobs w/o involvement of medicaid/medicare reimbursements. Potentially you could be permanently restricted from working in specific fields such as home care or supervisory positions. So it's not impossible but you will find many obstacles and road blocks. If you are not already a nurse, it may be difficult to get into a nursing program due to the criminal background check.
