The duties vary from company to company. A branch supervisor as the name suggests, is the person in charge of the branch. The supervisor is responsible for smooth operations, customer satisfaction, time delivery of the product, responsible to coordinate with the subordinates in order to achieve their goals etc. These are the very few responsibilities of a Branch Supervisor.

I need to know the duties and responsibilities of a branch supervisor and also their definitions
I too would love to know the legal duties of a Branch Supervisor and how much I should be earning. I am a Branch Supervisor in a small bank branch. It seems when I look at some Branch Managers (who make way more than I do) their duties are way less than mine. I am a Teller, Head Teller, CSR and Supervisor. I run the branch in every way possible. The only duty I don't do, is loans. One of the Managers who I spent a couple of days with when I was "in training" showed me the duties she was responsible for. They were very few. However, again, I am doing everything in the branch and it doesn't seem right to me. There are two other Branch Supervisors within our bank while all the others are considered Branch Managers. Each Supervisor opens and closes accounts all day, deal with customer concerns, run a teller drawer when needed, handles the vault operations and maintains staff morale just to name a very select few of the duties. I am run ragged by then end of the day. What gives? Is this even legal?
