In as many ways as can be thought of in relation to what a solider actively does all the time. To know how many soldiers there are to fight, drive, feed, fly planes, etc.. Then how many soldiers can drive so how many vehicle are needed for drivers the weapons, fuel, food and troops. How many troops are they fighting against! How far away the journey may be from where they are now. How many bullets, guns, missiles. How to aim the missiles and hit the targets, which could be drone planes which need robotics which are all math based machines, and equipment like computers which are also based in math!
