In today's world computer skill is high priority. Skills in certain programs is well prized. One of the most used programs I see used is Excel. It seems to be used for nearly everything and every industry. It also is a very powerful program and has a lot of abilities if you learn them all. I only know about 1/3 of them, but seem to know twice as much as most of the people I work with.
Computer Skills. This is one of the most basic skills that almost anyone can have, but is becoming a huge requirement of alot of hiring companies out there,
Cooking. Everyone should know how to feed themselves.
People skills.
Sleeping.
Listening ... Almost a lost art :)
Microsoft Excel and VBA. I don't care what office job you have, but you will be a god among your co-workers. I'm not talking about just knowing how to plug in numbers, I'm talking about knowing how to use excel to it full capabilities.
Programming. Java, Python, C++, Ruby on Rail, whichever I don't care. Just pick one and learn the heck out of it.
Negotiating Skills or just Social Skills in general. You don't want to be the person working for the same company for over a decade for the same low pay, getting passed up for promotion for the younger outgoing guy you trained. All because you can't speak up for yourself.
Speed Reading. I know many who don't date people that don't read. Including myself.
