The responsabilities of a vet are the same as a medical doctor for people. They are responsible for shots, taking care of the animal, diagnosis, administering medication and some vets perform surgeries as well. You must have a high level of education to care for pets, as they come in all varieties, not just mamals, like cats and dogs, there may be lizzards to be treated, etc.etc.

The duties for a veterinarian is to help the animals and to make them as conformable as possible if they are in pain. They also can help the owner by being there for them and assuring them that their pet is going to be okay.

A lot of veterinarians have to deal with death so you would have to be able to control your feelings and they also have to euthanize animals. Being able to do your job when you're asked to is also very important. You have to be able to use a lot of medical tools and go into college for 7 years or more to be qualified. You have to be persistent and always do your best.

A VET has done his duty and is responsible only to ensure his many fallen and injured comrades are remembered for the great sacrifices they have all made for their country.
