My daughter also wants to be a beauty tutor. She is currently doing her C & G 7303 (PTLS). Then her A1 assessor award and CTLS. Then she can try and find a beauty job and do her Cert Ed whilst teaching. She also has her NVQ 3 in beauty.
Hope that helps.

In order to become a beauty teacher you must have a beautician certificate from any institute so that you can work as a beauty teacher. Besides certificate or diploma you need some practical experience as well in order to become a beauty teacher or assessor. However there is a different between the beauty teacher and assessor.

A beauty teacher is one who just teaches other how they can be beautiful and make their skin beautiful. While the role of the beauty assessor is quite different because he or she needs enough experience and lot of beauty courses in order to become a beauty teacher so you can both but it take time to become assessor as compared to the beauty teacher.

So you must get some diploma in the beautician course from some reputable institutions so that you can become the beautician very easily when ever you complete your course just start practice what you have learnt because theory is quite different from the practical. So the more the experience you will gain the more expertise you can get from it. So you can become a beauty teacher very easily if you keep on practice till 2 to 3 years. After some experience you can open up your own saloon.
