If you are the boss you make them welcome and explain the workings of the job and what is expected of them and tell them to come to you if they have any problems. If you are new at the job introduce yourself and ask for guidance about the job. Do not be afraid to help anyone if they need help or ask for help if you are struggling. Make sure you fill your hours with work and not idle gossip.
