Retail means "trade" or "vend" while corporate means "commercial" or "business". To get an entry in corporate world students are required to have a degree in MBA. MBA is Masters in Business Administration and the students select specialization in MBA in a particular subject like HR, Marketing, and Finance etc. The courses which are taught in MBA like Organizational Behavior, Financial management, HR development, Business communications, International business etc. Gives the students an insight to the practical business world. MBA sharpens their communication and presentation skills which are some of the basic skills required in any business.

Retail is when things are sold to the general public. If you go to a Retail store it means the kind of store you would find at the mall. Wholesale is how the retail stores get their merchandise to sell to you.

Corporate refers to the commercial enterprises taken up by a group of individuals.
