I am a former office manager (retired). It is the task of the office manager to encourage & inspire & create a positive attitude and work ethic within the office for all of the staff. The task of the office manager is to daily meet the goals and expectations of the people above them. The "office team" must have someone to mediate their problems with each other and with the management...another task for the office manager.
