Why are you expected to not complain once you have a job?

I don't understand your question. Complain about what? If you were complaining because you didn't have a job, your problem has been solved. If you are complaining because you have a job, but it's not what you want to do, then figure out how to change that. Get additional training, go back to school, keep your mouth shut and learn from the best worker at your job - these are all choices you have to change your circumstances.

Well, if your company treats you like a poultry farmer treats his chickens, he didn't hire you for you mind.

He only hired you for what you are worth below the neck.

This is, by the way, generally considered poor management by us chickens.
