This is going to depend on the research that you are going to want to do, there are many different aspects within hotel and restaurant management which you are going to be able to research and you may just be looking in one area or you may want to have a background of all different aspects.

• Organization

For any research that you are going to do on this type of management, there is going to have to be some sort of organization. The organization is going to have to be in place to ensure that the hotel and the restaurant are going to run smoothly without there being too many problems.

• Plans

Every hotel and restaurant is going to have a plan of action for everything. The management team is not just going to run into something without knowing how they are going to achieve what they want. There is going to be a plan of active and a plan in case there is going to be a different outcome.

• Positions

The key of management within hotels and restaurants is to ensure that everyone who is working within the area knows exactly what they should be doing, you cannot just expect a receptionist to know the different jobs that they have to do, you are going to ensure that they are outlined that they are made aware of them.

• Customers

Finally, the customers are going to be the main part to any management within a hotel or a restaurant. Without customers, the business is going to be nothing!

With many different directions to take your research into, you are going to have to ensure that you don't overwhelm yourself being doing too much. Research the aspects that you need to know and that you need to understand and you are not going to have any problems with the outcome and final research sheet that you have done.
