The Contingency Theory of Management basically is a point of view that states that there is not one best way for leadership or for organizing a corporation. This is because there are many internal and external factors affecting the working of an organization.
Thus, this theory negates the bureaucracy theory and Scientific Management theory as they focus on only one aspect. Whereas on actual grounds the working of the organization is affected by many other factors. Thus this theory focuses on individual leadership that depends on the environment of the company.
