Many young girls today are choosing to become air hostesses. Although there aren't too many strict requirements to become an air hostess, there are a few that are quite essential. One doesn't need to have a specific academic qualification, though most firms do prefer it if you have a basic graduation degree. Some airlines prefer to have candidates who have completed a diploma in hotel management or the tourism and hospitality industry.
If you are applying to become an air hostess, make sure that you are a people-friendly person and have the right kind of attitude sets in place. Almost all the airlines have a specific height requirement which varies. Contrary to the popular myth, it isn't essential that an air hostess needs to be exceptionally beautiful or pretty. Nowadays, those interested in this industry can also join air hostess training schools, which provide special training and also recruit candidates in the top airline firms. If you don't wish to enroll for any of the training schools, keep an eye out for advertisements in the leading dailies and send in your application.

To become an Air Hostess you need to have a suitable appearance and the ability to carry yourself with charm and grace while having a natural proclivity to enjoy being of service to others with a smile. A college degree though not mandatory is still however preferable to make is successfully as an air hostess. At some airlines you can train to do the job before hand. Different airlines have different requirements just look at their website. It does help to know a lauguage because it gives you an advatage. Remember its not easy to learn a lauguage I know this because I am studying spainish so you have to be dedicated and it also takes a lot of your time up. If you have experience catering to peoples needs for example a hotel waitress its also a bonus. Make sure you put any past experience on your application form. Some people that become air hostesses just apply-ed for the job via their website and did a training course when they got accepted from the airline of their choice.

Hello .. I am 19 . Being an air hostess is my goal . But Now I am learning Engineering lessons .
I really want to be a good air hostess . I am nearly graduate with English Major In my country .
Now I stay in Singapore for studying. My English is not too well but I was still learning to Improve . I have fair complexion and black hair and also black eyes . And I am 5'6" tall. Air hostess should be good at social and also should bearing  .. I know that point and also should bright as well . And good health and also virgin ! And must swim .. I am 14 and I want to start cracking into my work and prove to myself I can achieve my ambition. I would like to be an air hostess for Air-Algerie and fly from algeria and england. I can speak arabic, algerian, and also english. I am now learning; French, spanish and Italian. If I wanted to I can learn chinese but I chose not to. Whenever you're asked to explain why you want to become an Air Hostess you are required to present your case in as best terms as possible with respect to the parameters set in the job description. A flight attendant's job is not as simple as it seems to be. You are required to be a team player, capable of handling challenging situations with ease. You should be easy to talk to and should always serve with a smile. Primarily a people's person fits perfectly in the job description who always keeps her calm in face of adversity or something even as meaningless as an irate passenger. You should be well organized and professional. If you base your answers around those characteristics that ought present your case better. Another good idea could be to study the job description carefully and make a list of all those points that you need to expound upon while explaining your position.

It's not easy to become an air-hostess I also want to be come an air-hostess but I knew that I still have to learn different language and also good at communicating with people and we have to tall as well. And the air-hostess also have to interview some thing or advertisement, they have to doing the speech in front of the people oversea

No they are both wrong it is about 12,000-21,000 PA but with benefits depending on airline

when you are a purser you can get up to 37,000-45,000

With training from the company between 3-4 months to become a hostess on a 2 month trial. If successful you will be an air hostess within 6 months.

Its vary from academy to  academy. Some of them take 2 years for it and other having this course with one and half year. You can concern for it in  your local town from where you want to do it and other things are available at internet with update information.
