To work for an estate agent's firm in the United Kingdom, you need to be a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. The name of this body is abbreviated as RICS. It is the governing body for professionals who work in the real estate industry in the United Kingdom. Every member of the RICS is known as a chartered surveyor. A chartered surveyor who is affiliated to the RICS can practice real estate agency on commercial property in the United Kingdom.

For a person to practice real estate agency on commercial property in the United Kingdom, he or she has to be a member of the trade association which is known as the National Association of Estate Agents (which is abbreviated as NAEA). Real estate agents in the United Kingdom are basically unregulated.

Hi there, I don't think you really need any Qualifications such as GCSES, A Levels etc. I think you just need to be a good salesman or something like that. It's a good job too because whatever house you can sell you make commission :) good luck

To become an estate agent in UK is not a very easy profession as all the rules and stringent regulations need to be looked after. To become an approved estate agent, one has to advertise on the register promoting accessible properties for sale or on rent.

The agent needs to refer the client to various properties for sell or for rental purpose. The Approved Partner agency will have a particular authorised logo for identification. The estate agents in UK will be entitled to promote their material through advertisement. They will be given the facility to publicise the approved partner scheme with a press release for the local media.

The accessible property register will require an annual fee and will also help the agency to meet the terms of the necessity.
