What Are The Characteristics Of A Good Nursing Home?
Caring employees,The nursing home needs to be clean,Employees needs to be efficient, Management needs to be caring,professional,and very organized. They need to have programs for patients to do. A Nurse needs to be on staff,24 hours a day. The food needs to look appetizing and taste good. Patients needs should always come first. Cost reasonable.
I would just turn away and walk out if it smells like urine when you walk in and people are sitting in their wheelchair with food on their faces and half falling out of their chairs. If they can't look good at the front door I would hate to imagine how they would look behind close doors.
