Team leadership is focused on a team working together with one leader guiding the team towards success. The success is achieved as a team, and the failure is also done as a team. There is not a focus on individual work, but rather team projects, team work, and a team atmosphere. Solo leadership is one that creates an atmosphere where the leader decides, without asking for input from the team and without including them in on the conversations regarding potential change, new work, or anything else that impacts the department. Solo leadership is focused on each individual, rather than the team approach or shared vision creation.
