Technical Interview questions for a software company will greatly depend on the type of company you are interviewing with and the type of job you are looking for. If you are a database person, the questions you will be asked are greatly different from if your specialization is Java, XML, or SAP.  For Database you will need to know SQL, PLSQL and such languages and you will be asked questions on these. If you are applying for a SAP position some sample question could be:

1)Tell us about the components of SAP XI?
2) what is Integration Builder.
3) What is Software Component Version
Hence it is advisable to do a specialized search in google or yahoo to get a list of such questions. One such website with an extensive list of questions is www.techinterviews.com

However, aptitude questions will be common for all fields. Some such questions could be as below. Please note that this is by no means an exhaustive list and you should do your search on the internet for ensuring your success.

      1) What in your opinion is the difference between goal and ambition?
2) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
3) What are your job skills and abilities?
4) Names of some prominent software companies.
5) What is your expected salary ?
6) Where do you see yourself five years?
7) Do you consider yourself a leader?
