A technician nurse salary will depend on a number of factors like the state you are in, whether you r a registered nurse and the hospital you are working for. Mostly, the registered nurse will take home a larger amount of money compared to those who are not registered. A registered technician nurse working for an average of forty hours in a week takes home over US Dollars 50, 000 per year. This means they earn up to 24 US dollars per hour.

Some registered nurses take home over 75, 000 US dollars per year while a small percentage of them earn up to 92, 000 US dollars. Some of the states where technician nurses are paid relatively higher salaries include California, Alaska, Hawaii, Arizona, Rhode Island ,Michigan, Minnesota, New York , Nevada, Delaware and Oregon. The average pay for technician nurses in these states is over 50, 000 US dollars.

Technician nurse salary will depend on the cost of living in the particular state you are working in. If you are not a registered nurse, pay can be far much lower. Some nurses are paid 14.50 dollars per hour in Ohio, 20 dollars per hour in Ne w York and even 9 dollars per hour.

Your experience also determines the amount of money you get paid. Just like any other job, you pay increases with the increase in your know how and your ability to execute duties as required. For this reason, technician nurses with lesser years if practice are bound to be paid far much lesser salaries. Usually, the hospital you work for gives you a starting pay which is often revised based on your performance.

To find out the average pay of a technician salary in your state you can visitwww.cbsalary.com/salaries/Nurse-Technician  This site will give you finer details of the salaries per state. Other factors that will affect the amount of a technician salary have to be the number of beds in a hospital and the nurses' areas of specialization. Nurses can specialize in surgery, emergency room services, critical care, medicine and operation room. There is no standard payment system for technician nurses.

It depends on what state you live in! New York and California generally pay the best compared to other states! The cost of living is also among the highest in these two states as well!
